Across the GCC, businesses invest in technology constantly — ERP systems, cloud platforms, automation tools, digital infrastructure. Most of those investments are made under pressure. A vendor presents a solution. A competitor adopts something new. The decision gets made before the problem is fully understood.
Firm Methods was built to change that dynamic. Not by selling a better product — but by bringing structure, independence, and honest thinking to the technology decisions that matter most.
Firm Methods doesn’t recommend technology first. We start by understanding the business — its systems, its gaps, its real situation. Only then do we build a plan. And when the plan is ready, we stay involved to make sure it gets delivered properly.
We understand the business before recommending anything — systems, processes, gaps, and risks. Not arriving with a solution already in mind.
A structured plan with priorities, timelines, and a clear sequence of what needs to happen and when. Not a vague strategy document.
We stay involved through implementation — vendor coordination, milestone tracking, keeping leadership informed throughout.
No solution is proposed until the situation is genuinely understood.
No product to sell. No vendor relationship that influences the advice.
Plans are only worth what the implementation delivers. We stay involved.
Shameel Mohamed founded Firm Methods after a 17-year career that covered more ground than most consultants see in a lifetime.
He started as a software developer, spending over seven years inside multinational companies — working closely with enterprise technology from the inside, understanding how systems are built, how they fail, and what actually determines whether a technology investment delivers value.
After that, he made the move from employee to founder — building and bringing to market a portfolio of real technology products: a full ERP ecosystem, a restaurant chain management system, eCommerce platforms, mobile applications, and custom software across multiple industries. These weren’t consulting projects. They were products he built, owned, delivered, and supported. Alongside that, he accumulated over ten years of hands-on ERP implementation experience across GCC businesses — managing rollouts, navigating go-lives, and dealing with the operational realities that follow.
That background means Firm Methods approaches every engagement with something most consultants don’t have: genuine technical depth alongside business thinking. When we evaluate a vendor, assess an implementation, or design a governance framework, we understand how these systems actually work — not just how they’re sold.
Shameel Mohamed’s career has been built in the UAE, with close exposure to the broader GCC market — the local vendor landscape, the ERP products common to the region, and the specific way businesses here make technology decisions.
